Our finish polished brass unlacquered, (PBU), can be customised in-house.
Aged and brushed brass can be achieved in a 1-7 day turn around, while,
- Nickel - Brushed or Polished.
- Black, Graphite, Antique, Chrome.
- Weathered and Textured.
Can be achieved in 4-5 weeks.
We require a 50% deposit to activate your order and the payable balance is requested before delivery or on pickup.
Progress payments may be requested for larger orders.
We offer both standard and express Australia-wide shipping, and can also ship overseas upon request. Your shipping cost will depend on your order size and timeline requirements.
We ship using Australia Post or Couriers Please, depending on the destination and service needed.
- Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
- Orders eligible for returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Custom or made-to-order items are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Lead times are indicative only and may vary. Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation.
- All goods remain the property of MP & Sons until paid in full.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect all goods upon delivery or collection. Claims for damage or defects must be made within 7 days.
- Pricing excludes delivery unless otherwise stated.
- By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms.
We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our hardware. Our products are designed to perform and age beautifully.
We offer a 5 year manufactural warranty from the date of purchase on all products against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship when used in normal residential or commercial applications.
This warranty applies to products that have been:
- Installed in accordance with our guidelines and standard industry practices
- Used for their intended purpose
- Properly maintained and cared for
- Not modified or altered after supply
- If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion:
Repair the product, or replace the product (or component), or provide store credit for the value of the product.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- Because our products are often solid brass and intentionally designed to develop a natural patina, the following are not considered defects:
Patina, oxidation, or ageing of finishes
- Variations in tone, texture, or colour between batches.
- Wear due to normal use or environmental exposure.
This warranty also does not cover:
- Incorrect installation or installation by non-qualified trades
- Misuse, abuse, or damage caused by impact
- Surface damage from harsh chemicals or improper cleaning agents
- Products installed in coastal/saltwater environments without appropriate maintenance
- Custom finishes unless otherwise specified
Special Notes on Brass & Living Finishes
- Unlacquered brass and other living finishes are intended to age and change over time. This natural evolution is not a defect but an inherent and desirable characteristic of the material.
Claim Process
To make a warranty claim, please provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Photographs of the issue
- Installation location and date
- Description of the issue
- We may request the product be returned for inspection before approving a claim.

Exclusions & Liability
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
In no event shall we be liable for:
1. Labour or installation costs
2. Removal or re-installation costs
3. Consequential or incidental damages
Statutory Rights
- This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Where applicable, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
